About Us

AntJan Sauces is a Queensland owned and operated business specialising in gourmet chilli products. Ranging from sauces to pastes, jams and chutneys. It all started many years ago (from memory around 1998) when a friend gave us four birdseye chilli plants.

These plants produced far more than we could consume ourselves, as we didn't want to waste any of the chilli goodness. We started looking at ways of putting all of the extra chillies to good use. So after a little experimenting we started making a chilli, onion and garlic paste. This proved to be a popular item amongst family and friends who often wanted more for their friends and family.

So fast forward to 2006 and we had started experimenting with different chillies and fruits to create flavoursome chilli sauces, pastes, chutneys and jams. The rest is as they say is history.

All of our products have chillies and fruit that is either grown by us or sourced locally. This is to ensure that only the best possible ingredients are used in our products. Our sauces have journeyed around Australia and as far a field as New Zealand, Canada and the United States. We have also supplied our sauces to several takeaways in SE Queensland.
